On January 21, 2017, millions of women, men, and children gathered around the world to march — and we're gearing up to do it again!
When? Marches are being organized around the world for this upcoming weekend. Most marches will take place on the 20th, while the Women's March organizers will be marching on the 21st for the #PowerToThePolls event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
What is #PowerToThePolls? The Women's March organizers will be hosting an anniversary march in Las Vegas, Nevada, to kickoff their national voter registration tour.
"Women's March has created a powerful movement that has ignited thousands of activists and new leaders," said Tamika D. Mallory, co-president of Women’s March. "In 2018, we must turn our work into action ahead of the midterms. This new initiative will address voter registration and voter suppression head on. We marched for justice in DC, we created our plan in Detroit and now we’re bringing the power of the polls to Nevada."
We're still nasty as ever! In addition to the iconic Nasty Woman shirt, we'll be marching in our Woman In Power shirt. Every shirt purchased donates $10 to She Should Run, a non-profit organization enabling women to run for public office.
